I love Mike Doughty.  The fact that he dropped a rather successful band (Soul Coughing), kicked heroin, grabbed a rental car on a self funded 9,000 mile cross country acoustic tour and “decided” to go it solo without major label support are just a few reasons why this guy is in my top 5.  New album (Sad Man Happy Man) out now.  Audio quality on this video blows, but its about the best I could find from the new album.  Although having a cold right now, everything sounds like its underwater.  Better quality audio streams at Mike Doughty’s site
